International (European) Keyboard for IZ2S/IZ2Se/EZ2S
A French ZipitZ2 owner, Dom has kindly put together a keymap and font collection for IZ2S/IZ2Se/EZ2S that allows you to enter and display accented characters on the ZIpitZ2.

Zipitbot
#zipit IRC channel user nulluser has turned a ZipitZ2 into a nice self contained bot. The Zipit talks to a dsPIC controller board via i2c (originally via the serial mod) and the whole thing is controlled via wifi using a client program on a PC. The bot is a very cool use of the ZipitZ2. He has kindly posted alot of information about it including the client software sourcecode on his zipitbot webpage

Forth for the Tandy M100/M102
Michael Alyn Miller has written an ANS Forth option rom for the Tandy Model 100 which looks rather nice especially if you can program in Forth. I don't have a REX add-on for my m100's but it looks as if it'll work best if you have a REX although if you can blow eproms then you could make your own option rom. If you don't have a real m100 then you could run it in VirtualT.
Valexonline has limited supplies of the $10 ZipitZ2 left.
[Update2: Looks like we are back to full price ($50 give or take) Zipit's. Valexonline seems to be out and the seller who was selling batches of 8 for $100 seems to be finished too.]

I just got a reply from an email to Valexonline. It seems that they have got less than 50 ZipitZ2's left and they will ship to foreign lands (Europe etc.) using USPS although using USPS doesn't allow for tracking and stuff sometimes gets lost so although FedEx is more expensive it is safer.
If you want a $10 Zipit then you'd better order one quickly before they run out.
