Q2. What's the next number in the sequence and why? 9, 17, 35, 53, ...

Q1 lists the atomic numbers of noble gasses. The next number is 86, the atomic number of Radon.
Q2 lists the atomic numbers of halogens. Therefore, the next number in the sequence is 85 for Astatine.
